Book festivals are held every fall in Jinbou-cho book town, Kanda, Tokyo.

There is one of the largest antiquarian bookstore areas in the world in Jinbou-cho in the heart of Tokyo. This area is bustling with antiquarian book lovers all the time. About 160 antiquarian bookshops, some of which are also selling new books though, line two streets, Yasukuni-dori and Suzuran-dori. Each of these shops specializes in a specific field such as literary books, photographic collections, art books, etc. They unitedly host two book festivals every year. Kanda antiquarian book festival and Jinbou-cho new book festival are held here in autumn. A large number of books in carts along the streets are sold during these book festivals.
