Yamanote Loop Line Walk "The Yama-thon"

Are you ready to test your physical limits? If yes, this experience is for you!

The "Yamathon" is a charity event but my tour is not connected to that.

I have made my own route - making it an even 42km Yamanote + marathon "Yama-thon" route. Do you have what it takes to complete the Yamathon?

We will meet in Shibuya at the famous Hachiko dog statue (typically at 7am).

From there, we`ll walk a 42km Yamanote loop, stopping at all 30 stations!

This will typically takes 10-12 hours, but it really depends on you :-)

Explore many unique neighborhoods and get a glimpse into life of a Tokyoite.

Highlights include - Harajuku, Meiji shrine, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Ugisudani, Ueno park, Akihabara, Ginza, Shimbashi, Shinagawa, Ebisu among others.

Make friends, get fit and kick off a bucket-list item doing Tokyo Yamathon!

   The basics

  • ¥40,000 per person (family discount available)

  • Two delicious restaurant meals are included

  • Get photos at all 30 Yamanote loop stations

  • Discover parts or Tokyo you`d never normally see

  • Learn about the history of the different areas

  • Make some new friends along the way

Mt Fuji Ropeway + Aokigahara Suicide Forest Tour

Want to do more than just seeing Mt Fuji? This is the ultimate experience for you!

The best thing about this tour is it is a private tour, only you and your family/friends and it starts and ends at your hotel.

From Tokyo, we`ll head west to Mt Fuji and start at the Mt Fuji panoramic ropeway.   You`ll see breathtaking views of Mt Fuji and the surrounding lakes and terrain. After descending, lunch can be had at one of the local restaurants in the area. If we are short on time, it`s also possible to buy something at a convenience store and eat in the van. From there we`ll head to the Aokigahara forest loop trail. This is a family friendly 4km loop walk. The forest thrives from the hardened lava, laid down after a volcanic eruption of Mt Fuji in 864. Along the way we`ll explore the "Narusawa Ice Cave" and "Fugaku wind cave". This is a private tour, so the places we visit and the order we visit them is entirely up to you :-)

    The basics

  • ¥40,000 per person (max 8 people)

  • Pick up and drop off at your hotel / accommodation.

  • Mt Fuji ropeway, ice cave and wind cave tickets included

  • Lake Kawaguchi scenic drive - many photo opportunities

  • Visit the iconic Sengen shrine (Mt Fuji in background)

  • Have the flexibility of letting me take you where you want to go
